I’m adding this quote because it is a perfect example of a person trying to describe the meaning of love. However, the last part of the quote where he says “I promise to cherish and respect you, to care for and protect you, to comfort and encourage you, and to stay with you, for all eternity” is so vague it is hard to interpret what he means by that. Does that mean they will still be together after their death? Or does that mean they will stay with them even if they are not together?
